Lerchenborg Denmark

PV Eurosolution

The largest Scandinavian photovoltaic project. Construction of the solar power station located close to the Baltic Sea commenced on August 11th, 2015. The project will start commercial operation before the end of 2015. Thanks to the flat land of the construction site, fair solar radiation in the area and permanent wind that cools the modules, Larchenborg is an ideal location for a PV project in Northern Europe. The solar system consists of 239,000 solar modules installed on fixed structures and 1,700 inverters, providing an expected annual energy generation of 61,000 MWh, enough to supply 30,000 private households and save 87,000 tons of CO2 per year. PV Eurosolution scope of work includes the mechanical installation of the supporting structures and PV modules for the overall project.
